The first 9 factors above are the Fruits of the Spirit in
Galatians 5:22-23. They are statistically similar to the
optimum lifestyle factors that are identified by scientific
psychologists using personality inventories. Christian
Personality Profile is state-of-the-art. It is a synthesis of
basic or core factors from 39 major published tests dealing
with non-psychotic behaviors. The user answers 130
questions on either the keyboard of the computer, or
from a booklet test. The print-out of a graph and 4-6
pages of interpretation is written to be given to the client
or user. Its uniqueness lies in its overall view which comes
from the wide variety of texts and test-maker beliefs about
what happens to cause persons to have problems.
PSYCHOLOGISTS: Christian Personality Profile enables
individuals and psychologists to have a lot stronger assurance
that they are dealing therapeutically with a more comprehensive
set of optimum lifestyle values and behavior factors than in most
other tests.
RELIABILITY and VALIDITY: The internal reliability of the
Christian Personality Profile has been established by the
"Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS).
The Cronbach alpha coefficients range from .707 to .903
with the average of .854. The Guttman Split-Half correlation
is .887 and the Spearman-Brown "equal-unequal" length
correlation is .887. Test-retest reliability is .824. Construct
validity has been established by the process of synthesizing
342 factors of 39 major tests.
DATA BASE: The data base of the Christian Personality
Profile is made up of 650 persons from U.S., Canada and
Australia, Singapore. There is good distribution of age, gender, socio-
economic-status and marital status.
